Im sharing this with everyone because im currently suffering from mild chest pain (which leads to coughs.)?cid=4-42-216

i remember my mom gave me this article about a Singaporean girl who died because of 8 straight hours on her laptop. She just graduated and had a career with lotsa $$$$. (i forgot, but it was sure damn high!). She got promoted, which means she’ll receive more $$ and of course, more WORK + STRESS!

She worked the whole day and night (on her laptop) non stop. She soon developed some symptoms which relates to her heart/breathing. She couldnt get a moment’s peace because clients whom she worked for were impatient, practically "yell" via 200+ emails that she has to reply and analyse each day.

The girl even collapse in her office lobby a few times. Her condition worsened as she had stated in her blogs (too long to type here.. hee). Her breathing got worse….

one day (or was it night… hmm.. xp) her family saw her gasping for air in her chair… she died as they approach the hospital.

She had a thrombosis (blood clot) in her thigh.. Her arteries constrict so no blood can flow through.. If im not mistaken, it was stated that the thrombosis occured in her thigh because she was idle (did not move) for a very long time (8 straight hours). So, the flow of blood is greatly interfered because she wasnt even moving a single muscle.. When there is no blood flow, blood cannot reach the heart and so result in death..

So guys…

Since it is ccurrently exam season, i assume that the tightening of my chest is due to stress, lack of relax/sleep and improper diet (i skip meals and drink only one glass of water). Plus, i studied for 4 to 6 hours non stop which adds to the problem that i have now.

I fear it’s blood clots.. a thorombosis.. but let’s not think too much, shall we?????!!! (sobs..)

Hope y’all maintain a healthy lifestyle during this stressful season.. Dont force yourself.. Relax often… Exercise more…

Life ain’t easy.

On the surface, ppl might look calm and ready to help u in any way.. When they’re with u, you feel that "YES.. they’ve got my back".

On the contrary, when they’re hanging out with THEIR friends, they seem like total strangers to you.

It’s as if you don’t know who they are because they CHANGE their behaviour when they are with their group - in another world of theirs, in which you don’t belong to.

This makes me feel uneasy. Have they lost it? Why are they pretending to be another person when they are surrounded by their "people"?

Or maybe.. they’re not pretending at all..

Maybe that’s actually their true self.. and.. the behaviour which they ‘applied’ to me is just..

..AN ACT.. ?

Yes… ppl DO behave differently in different situations. Their suroundings affect the way they respond. It is not possible to have one identity.. like.. what do you mean by :

" I LIKE BEING MYSELF " ??

True.. we all have to accept and respect the way they are. We can’t do anything to change them.

However, when they ignore or neglect you, you’d be as confused as I am.

hopefully no dangdut… sobs!! I HATE DANGDUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT!!!

Well well well… it’s been weeks since ive updated my blog.. sigh

Let’s see now.. hmm..

There was this .. Chemistry exhibition at UBD on 7th April, Saturday.. we left school nearly 8am, reached at 9++. We missed the opening ceremony.. Shin Ning won the 1st prize for the poster competition.. err.. went to some displays and then to the so-called "Magic Show".. not really a magic show tho.. just mixing up some solutions and poof! colour changes, stuff like that.. quite ok, tho im not amused.. blablaaa… hee

And then.. SMSA debators left UBD to Yayasan.. While waiting for the others to arrive, we went window shopping there.. err.. walked to RTB.. sweat so much.. then witness the Finals Debate Competition..

Debate was good.. MS and PTE team did quite well.. hmm.. *scratch* oh yeaaaa.. Ayyub received the BEST SPEAKER AWARD FOR THE PRELIMINARY ROUND.. SMSA team was the 2nd runner-up.. We did a great job.. we chill out a while with the MS debators, exchanged email address (well.. only one of them did HAHA!) and took pictures with them.. Hadi showed them some "MAGIC".. gahahaaa!.. hehe.. great times.. sigh..

and then.. hmm.. i passed law test.. started driving lessons on Wednesday, 18th Apr. I had my second driving lesson this morning.. which is.. err.. bumpier than previous lesson. Fortunately, i can control the clutch much better.. engine died only once in a while up the hill… HEH!!!! curse u hilly thingy..

o yea.. got sick on Wednesday morning.. sore throat at first.. thought it was just a mild throat-ache.. Then i felt very drowsy.. head spinning while i was in the schol hall, watching the Best Student Award thingy for 2 hours.. then at 11 i couldnt take it anymore, so i text dad to pick me up.. went home.. ate medicine.. slept till 3.30pm..

And u think i would live happily ever after??

MOM MADE ME GO SWIMMING AFTER THAT!!!!!!!

yes… sigh.. i wasnt feeling very well.. but she wanted me to go swimming in BSRC.. haizz.. two hours of swim (7pm-9pm).. at least i felt much better after that.. ehe..

On that same day, friends/family/relatives of the late Calvin Chee came together to pay their last respect to him.. Tears covering their faces, hearts beat without a rhythm; pounding hard as they reluctantly witness his coffin sinking 6 feet under.. Dearly missed; quite a historical moment for the ones he loved..

He was so young.. he made me realise how important life is.. He made me value life more.. His death is an eye-opener to me.. Because i’ll never know when i would..

No one questions the quality of a superhero when that hero is involved in an intense, butt-kicking sequence. No one questions when he has saved the day. But why is that super-quality questioned? What happens when there are no powers at all?

The most obvious reason for such an assertion to be made, is Superman has an incredible arsenal of powers, while Batman has no powers. None of Batman’s abilities are super in nature; all of his crime fighting techniques are derived from his natural intelligence, ointense physical training or crime fighting "acessories".

He relies on discipline, cunning, and intellingence to get the job done.=, and it’s why we love the character so much.

When you’re thinking about who is more well known you have to observe their popularityin pop culture. Batman seems to have more success than Superman. He’s had more action figures than Superman, he was he first superhero to have a critically accalimed animated series, and when it comes to movies, Batman has outdone Superman. Batman is also considered by many comic book fans to be a superior character.

Again, Superman is NOT a man, HE’S AN ALIEN!

And with such strong powers, it seems that Superman is not usually risking a lot, whereas Batman would risk his life everday. It would be a hard life being Batman, but for most of the time, being Superman would be easy. So while Superman maybe Super, Batman might be a greater hero!

You underestimate Batman if you think that all he has is gadgets and money. Batman is SMARTER.

Even Superman is known to have said about Batman: "He’s right… He always is"

So hands UP! GO BATMAN!
